California Historical Landmark No. 1041 at 3701 W. 119th St, dedicated in 2005, marking where the Wilson brothers' childhood home stood and where they recorded 'Surfin'' in 1961. The house itself was demolished in the 1980s for the Century Freeway. It's a ten-minute stop for music fans, so pair it with a park visit.

The monument is on the smaller side, but interesting. It is built on the site of their childhood home, which is gone now because the 105 freeway went over it. The only parking is on the street.

The monument is in the appropriate location where the Wilson family lived. The home was torn down for the 105 freeway. Currently behind it the grass is torn up due to construction. It’s free just google beach boys home. The monument has in my opinion the 6 original members Brian, Dennis and Carl Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine and David Marks. These 6 were instrumental in crafting The Beach Boys. If your a fan this is close to LAX it’s a must see
