The redeveloped Sportsmen's Lodge on Ventura Blvd has shops along a stream, redwoods kept from the original lodge, an Erewhon market, and an outdoor dining deck. Parking is free for the first 90 minutes, then $7 for the next half hour, so it's best for a shorter visit.
