More than three miles and 245 acres of wide sand managed by the City of Santa Monica with California State Parks, with restrooms, volleyball courts and a parallel walking path. Dogs are not allowed on the beach, and e-scooters are banned on the beach bike path, the pier and Ocean Front Walk. City beach lots run along PCH (north of the pier) and Appian Way and Barnard Way (south), and they fill early on summer weekends.
