The paved beach path runs about three miles through Santa Monica, from Will Rogers State Beach in the north to Venice in the south, with a separate pedestrian path alongside. It is flat and easy for kids on bikes, though it gets crowded on weekends. Perry's on the pier rents bikes and beach gear.
