Meet the Horses and Park Rangers at Oakridge Estate
Northridge, CA
Free (no fee listed)
By Simir Shah
LA City park rangers bring their patrol horses to Oakridge Estate Park for grooming and saddling demonstrations, a touch table of horseshoes and tack, a horseshoe photo craft, and a ranger talk with Q&A. Near the end, kids can feed carrots to the horses, which is the highlight for preschoolers.
