A historic Spanish- and Moorish-style beach house famous for its colorful Malibu tile, between the pier and Malibu Lagoon. The gardens and outdoor history panels are free daily, the small Malibu Lagoon Museum covers Chumash and Rindge history, and the inside of the house is seen only on first-come docent tours. There is no on-site parking; use the county Surfrider lot, the Malibu Lagoon lot or free PCH shoulder parking.
