By Simir Shah
The city-run library (not the county system) has moved to a temporary storefront at Rimrock Plaza (4721 E. Palm Canyon Dr.) while its Sunrise Way building is renovated, with reopening tentatively set for summer 2027. The Rimrock space has a kids' corner, and a weekly bilingual Story Time / Hora de Cuentos runs there. The library calendar also lists kids' events like Slime Lab and weekly DIY Fun, plus Teen Zone at the Leisure Center.
