The city calls the pavilion the only indoor sports pavilion in the Imperial Valley. It has an indoor soccer field, basketball half-courts and a four-lane walking track. Next door, the youth center has basketball, volleyball and pickleball courts, and open gym runs on a monthly calendar, which makes it a solid air-conditioned option for restless kids in summer.
