El Centro, CA

By Simir Shah
Kids wade into the El Centro Aquatic Center's pools to collect floating eggs in spring and floating pumpkins in October. The center lends free child-size life jackets, and kids in diapers must wear swim diapers. The pool is also home to the city's Summer Kickoff Pool Party (June 11, 2027) and Fourth of July Pool Party (6–10pm).
