  Hiking Mt. Rubidoux on a Monday evening is a great experience. I usually start at sunset to reach the top before dark and watch the city lights come on. While most people hike during the day when it is crowded, the evening quiet is priceless for enjoying time with friends. It is a short distance for a unique experience, offering a view of the surrounding area that few other places can match. The hike is not difficult if you stay on the path. You should try an evening hike to see what I mean.
