If you start your hike from the inside of the park by the dog park it will be a struggle. It’s a hard climb to reach the pavement area. Instead try to locate where the pavement start which I never found. Other than that it’s a beautiful park and easy hike when you’re on the pavement.

Came here for the first time and absolutely fell in love with the view I do recommend going in the morning to avoid the trail getting busy bring water and stop by one of the trucks for a healthy smoothie on the way up 👍
