  The March Field Air Museum is a great place to visit, especially if you have an interest in aviation or military history. The museum has a huge collection of aircraft and aviation memorabilia representing all branches of the U.S. military, although the collection is primarily focused on the U.S. Air Force. There’s also an interesting collection of Russian-made MiGs that adds another dimension to the exhibits. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Most of the aircraft displayed outside have paint jobs that are noticeably sun-faded and weathered, but that’s understandable given their outdoor exposure and age. It doesn’t take away from the impressive size and variety of the collection. An especially interesting project currently underway is the refurbishment of the Marine One helicopter from the Nixon Presidential Library, which is being worked on by the museum. It was great to see this important piece of presidential history being preserved. The museum has convenient restrooms and a huge gift store with plenty of aviation-related merchandise. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit and a great stop for aviation enthusiasts, military history buffs, and families.

  Totally worth your time to visit. The exhibit is extensive with so much to look at. Exhibits are well marked with great information. Not expensive to get in.
