I didn't like this time that I came. I have one year without coming here and it's so dirty now ,no paper and no soap in the restroom, no maintenance at all, the grass super long the picni areas so dirty and tooooo many dumb rules in the lake. You can't swim in the deeper water even if you have a life jacket. You can't play with a ball in the lake. The lifeguard was very rude, he told us that we have to put our ball in the sand. Furthermore, if you bring your pool noodle you can't use it If you are not wearing a life jacket but like I said even if you have a life jacket they don't let you swim a little deep. The lifeguards literally want you stand just in the shore. I will never go back. I remember this lake very pretty, clean, and a good place to spend time with your family and friends. After this visit, I understand why the place is not so full like before. I will never go back again.

I love this park. The views are amazing. The reservation for campsites or day passes or it’s pretty easy. The water feels amazing. You can cook at the campsite with fire rings already given each campsite usually comes with picnic tables. They have showers bathrooms with toilet paper. It’s a real fun place with a lot to do especially if you coming with family or you just need a spot just to relax past time or an alternative to getting a hotel.

Relaxing way to get away from the city life. Lots of parking. Place is pretty clean for such a big recreational park. Life guards on duty at every station. Enough bathrooms. Definitely bring a canopy not a lot of natural shade. Water shoes would definitely be a plus for kids.

I want to be clear: the issue is not the place itself — Lake Perris is absolutely beautiful. It’s a great spot to relax, enjoy nature, and spend time with family. The scenery is stunning, and the park is very well maintained overall. The safety is also a big plus. The lifeguards are attentive and always keeping an eye on the kids, which makes the experience feel much more secure, especially for families. What’s really disappointing, though, is the behavior of some visitors. Unfortunately, a lot of people leave trash behind — bottles, plastics, and other garbage — even though there are plenty of large trash bins available throughout the park. It’s frustrating to see such a beautiful place not being respected the way it should be. This could easily be one of the best outdoor spots in the area if everyone simply did their part and cleaned up after themselves.

I live in Los Angeles ,I'll give a 3 star. The campground is fair, Fishing sucks and launching and loading my 21 foot fishing boat on the lake was difficult why , the docks will put scratches in your boat if you're not careful. Well on the lake caught nothing didn't even get a bite. Next day went to Silverwood Lake in the fish were great caught trout and stripes bass. The docks at Silverwood Lake was a lot easier to load and unload my boat. Silverwood Lake is the same distance as Perris Lake from Los Angeles. Campgrounds are great up there lots of trees in shade. Visitors, staff and Rangers super friendly and supportive. No more Perris Lake. Photo of Silverwood Lake.
