An old bowling alley reviewers rate for the building and the atmosphere more than the food. No reservations, so come early or wait, though reviewers say the wait is often shorter than quoted. It is dim, the cooling is poor, and it doubles as a bar, so it reads as an evening out rather than an afternoon.
LA's oldest bowling alley, beautifully restored, fun for older kids and families.

Old school bowling alley with good food and drink options. The staff is cool and kind and even on weekends when they tell you the wait is long some times the wait is not as long as you'd think. The cocktails are innovative and unique and the pizza is delicious, well crafted and composed with the right balance between ingredients. The bowling is fun and attracts a nice sociable crowd. The lanes curve the ball towards the center adding a dynamism to the play. There is LADOT parking nearby

Its a neat place, poor cooling, expect a lot of sweaty body odor. The drinks are pretty good and I have yet to sneak into the new tiki bar. Overall a fun time trading on the worn-in rustic hipster vibe of the late 00s. More Black Keys than stomp-clap.
