  A great ice skating rink! It was very beginner friendly since most of the people were also beginners. The price is pretty reasonable, 28 dollars for 2 hours of ice skating. It was tiring but very fun, would definitely recommend!!!

  Our family has been visiting Great Park Ice for over a year, and it has become a meaningful part of our lives. My son loves ice hockey, and my daughter enjoys figure skating. The welcoming environment and skilled, friendly coaches make it a fantastic place to learn. While everything is wonderful, I do have two concerns. First, I frequently notice different individuals smoking outside, which is disappointing given the number of children at the facility. Secondhand smoke is harmful, and since smoking in public spaces is prohibited in Irvine, I hope the facility will reinforce this rule more effectively. Additionally, during peak hours, some cars block the entrance instead of quickly dropping off their kids, leading to congestion. Despite these two issues, Great Park Ice remains an excellent place for young skaters. Addressing these concerns would make the experience even better.

  Best rink out there for ice hockey. Great instructors and the ice quality is better than other rinks in the area. The restaurant up stairs has very good burgers with fresh cut French fries.

  First time ever visiting here and this place is amazing! One of the best ice skating rinks we’ve ever been to! Really really huge building with multiple ice rinks. Huge clean restrooms. Nice food stand/snack bar with lots of good options. Seal 🦭 helpers for kids (and adults who are just learning as well). Definitely recommend this place and definitely will be returning. Overall 5 ⭐️

  World-Class Coaching For Figure Skaters— Axel Back in 10 Days! We flew from Orange County, NY to train at Great Park Ice, and it was worth every mile. The facility is incredible — modern, clean, and designed for skaters and families alike. But the real draw is Rafael Arutyunyan’s legendary academy, home to Olympic and World Champions. Meeting Rafael himself and watching him coach was unforgettable, and his program is both inspiring and personal — even visiting skaters feel part of it. In just 10 days, my 10-year-old daughter went from struggling with her Axel to landing it consistently again. The coaching team — Rafael, Todd, Andrei, Galina, Denys, Dani, Nadia, Matt, and Justin — was phenomenal. Huge thanks to Jacqueline Palmore, whose seamless coordination made the experience possible. Elite coaching, an inspiring atmosphere, and measurable results — we can’t wait to come back.
