  This place used to be a true gem in the early 2000s, but sadly it’s become a low-budget imitation of a Vegas pool party. We spent over $600 for what was supposed to be a relaxing spa day that included a couples massage. Instead, the massage felt rushed and impersonal because they had clearly overbooked the entire day. The biggest disappointment was the overcrowding. There were easily 40 people packed into the hot and cold plunge pools alone, making it impossible to enjoy the amenities the way a spa experience should be enjoyed. Every area felt congested, noisy, and chaotic. The atmosphere has completely changed. Instead of a peaceful, upscale retreat, it felt like a day club with loud music, people shaking their asses, and guests who were obviously over-served and intoxicated. The staff seemed more interested in creating a party scene than maintaining the relaxing environment this place was once known for. This is no longer the exclusive, beautiful spa it used to be. It’s become an overcrowded, overbooked venue trying to recreate a Vegas pool party, except you’re paying luxury spa prices for an experience that feels anything but luxurious. Save your hard-earned money. There are far better spas that still prioritize relaxation, quality service, and the guest experience over packing in as many people as possible.

  Glen Ivy Hot Springs was the perfect place to relax and recharge! From the moment we arrived, the entire experience felt peaceful and well worth the visit. The grounds are beautiful, clean, and well maintained, with so many pools and areas to unwind. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Whether we were soaking in the mineral pools, enjoying the different spa areas, or simply relaxing, everything was designed to create a calming and enjoyable experience. I celebrated my birthday here with friends, and it couldn’t have been a better way to spend the day. It was the perfect mix of relaxation, laughter, and self-care. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect from the stress of everyday life and treat yourself, I highly recommend Glen Ivy Hot Springs.
