This 965-acre salt marsh inside Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach is open to the public only on guided tours, with a shuttle from the main gate at 800 Seal Beach Blvd, docent-led bird and marsh stations, and an observation deck. Tours are U.S. citizens only, ages 18 and up need government photo ID, and late arrivals can't be accommodated.

Passport stamp for national wildlife refuge is located on military base at building 226. They are not open everyday. It seems volunteers come sometimes. I called in advance. A gentleman named Joe helped me On the phone and he coordinated to where I can obtain the passport stamp! Thanks Joe! Would love to see this place stay open.

I took my granddaughter there to pay our respects at the memorial setup for our armed service people who perished. It's small but beautiful.
