West Hills Park
Santee, CA

A west-side neighborhood park with open turf, play equipment and courts, next to West Hills High School. Quieter than the Town Center parks at weekends if you just want a low-key hour outdoors.

This is a nice park and baseball field. The park has two playground equipment areas and a good restroom. The baseball fields have a separate restroom as well. There are several picnic tables, including one large one next to the restrooms, large enough to accommodate a classroom. I noticed drinking fountains and benches around. The baseball fields are sized based on their league, but the grass does need some TLC given the many uneven areas. I learned you can rent parts of the park for large parties and celebrations.

Great walking path. Alot of open baseball field. Not so great children's playgrounds because of the damage and rust.

The positive bathroom review is what brought my dog and I here for the day. I traveled from Mt and by far this park has the cleanest bathrooms I have seen! There seems to be plenty of parking, it's dog friendly, playground is spotless, baseball games going all around.. so entertaining. There is a water fountain if you need to hydrate. But bring a bowl for your furry friends. I'm mobility challenged so not sure about any walking trails. Overall a 5 star experience but there's no overnight parking so 4 it will be. Thank you to the bathroom crew... what an impressive experience. Crickett
