  What a historic gem in the quaint Ramona downtown. We knew nothing of the local history. A visit to the Verlaque House (c. 1886) showcased a treasure trove of artifacts from Ramona's beginnings. The docent, Susan, was enthusiastic and informative. There was so much to see and do (even some crafts, which added an extra level of fun to the day). We were pressed for time but we will certainly return to try to see even more. Wow, what a surprise find and so worth the suggested $5 donation.

  We got an awesome tour with a local volunteer. So knowledgeable. Take $$ CASH they don’t have any other way of taking a donation There is so much here. Why a pot hole is called that. The funkiest hair dressingheated rollers, a gaol and school room. Don’t miss under the house too.

  Wow! We never expected to spend almost 2 hrs in this place. Mr. Jerry, a senior man, was our tour guy and did an excellent job explaining to us everything. And by that I mean He went with us every inch of the museum with the most interesting stories. Highly recommend to visit this place and please leave a donation!

  The docent, or daughter in law of the main docent, was very entertaining and helpful. My family spent a little over an hour here enjoying the history and artifacts of the area before heading to lunch, recommended by the docent (a local). I wouldn't bring small children but for people who have an interest in local history it's very worthwhile. Please donate!
