This Riverside County branch on 6th Street offers free kids' programs, story times and a cool, air-conditioned place to land with little ones — on triple-digit desert days it doubles as a welcome refuge from the heat. Call ahead to catch children's events; closed Sundays and Mondays.

Veteran's Park at Sunline Bus Transfer Stop and the famous tree greet you as you get off the bus in Coachella. The library is a few steps away. This library has the feel of youth and knowledge! Charging a phone can be a problem, but a couple of hours at a library will charge your cell and the quiet brings calm to our sometimes hectic life. Bathrooms are top shelf as the building still has new feel to it. The staff has been very helpful. Be cool and smart today... C U there!

Old run down library. The employees were nice and helpful. I like the fact it's still serving our community.

I gotta say, it’s a nice looking library. I appreciate the librarian shushing the noisy people but i really would like to have a day where i go to the library and do my hw and it’s dead silent. As a suggestion, there should be a separate library/ room for children, not discriminating but they are disruptive especially the ones with moms just as loud. I hope the people reading this review can agree that the library can be noisy. It’s suppose to be a silent learning/ reading/ studying/ or other things- environment but it’s not. I go to the library often times to just be in peace or to get work done. It isn’t fair that there i people who respect the silence along with the rules and then there’s people who walk in thinking it’s a kinder garden. But i give it 2 stars because the place is beautiful but i think it should be as beautiful in the inside through silence, as it is outside with the welcoming feel and being esthetically pleasing.

Library is pretty nice, even though it doesn’t have a good variety of books. Good this is that they can order the book from another library. The only problem is that some of the staff (front desk dude with glasses) very unprofessional, un respectful, rude. He needs to be away front the front desk. Or he needs to learn how to talk to people. Besides it looks like he was sleeping in the chair.

The ladies at the front were really welcoming and helpful. I can't compare the book selection to others since I hadn't been to any library in a while, but I love that I can request the books online and just pick them up at the library. The building is beautiful, my 3-year old and I loved it.
