  I arrived too late to fully enjoy the beautiful lake and surrounding wild flowers but for sure will come back to this most beautiful lake perched on top of the mountains with surrounding trails of wildflowers. Car entry is 11 dollars and each person is charged 4 dollars per entry.

  Diamond Valley Lake Marina has been an amazing get away for us to be at peace with nature, go fishing and learn about the history of this area, and receive appropriate and supportive instruction from our amazing fishing guide, Marc Franko. As homeschoolers, we learn a lot about the ecosystem, history of the area, and work on our social skills while learning to be more proficient anglers. This is the best therapy and we are so grateful for the girls at the Lake Shop that helped us find a guide. They have many guides that support the Marina and there is a different fit for different people. We had many great trips with Mr. Kyle here as well. Just ask the shop attendants who is available and explore the wonders that Diamond Valley Lake has to offer. It's truly amazing.

  Good spot to see Southern California wildflowers. It can get crowded on weekends so get there early. Also pay attention to schedule hours as they close early even in Spring Daylight Savings Time. Most people just wonder around the wildflowers fields in the 1st three miles. But you can hike completely around the man made lake, or it is and easy biking trail. Beyond the 1st three miles much more quiet and peaceful. On a clear day great views of San Jacinto and Santiago Peaks. Please stay on the trails and do not pick or trample the wildflowers. They are for everyone to enjoy.

  I really enjoy visiting Diamond Valley Lake Marina. The spacious parking area makes it convenient, and the peaceful mornings here are perfect for starting the day with a calming routine. It’s an excellent place to reset your mind and experience mindfulness while surrounded by beautiful scenery. The trails are fantastic for running, and the more prepared visitors can even take on the full loop around the lake. During spring, the area becomes even more special with the stunning superbloom of local wildflowers—definitely a must-see! And yes, you might occasionally spot a snake crossing the pathways, but they’re peaceful and mind their own business. All in all, this marina is a wonderful escape for nature lovers, runners, and anyone looking for a serene outdoor experience.

  The Diamond Valley Lake is a beautiful area. We went out there for the wildflower bloom, it was gorgeous. The Marina parking is very close to where the trail starts, the road that leads to the parking could be very busy if you come on the weekend or come too late in a day. We went there on Sunday 03.26.2023 about 11:50 am , but took us over an hour to get to the parking. Have to come earlier to avoid long lines. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The parking is 11$ and also 4 $ for each hiker and there is only one booth where you pay for your parking, so it backs up quickly. Unfortunately the dogs are not allowed on the trails, so if you think you can sneak in guess again, I saw people hike all the way from the bottom with their pets and had to go back, maybe it is allowed only if you stay in the parking and take turns to hike. Better off leaving your furry friends at home. There is park enforcement to keep things in order. Since this is a private Marina there are people that come with their boats. There is a boat ramp. the parking is paved, but there is other portion of parking that is not paved. The wildflower trail and organization was pretty great , with porta potties and benches along the way. The views from the trails were great, mountains with snowy peaks were visible. The wildflower hike was about 2 miles long, only in one area the elevation gain was ( 282 FT) top elevation was 1998 FT( the parking was about 1718 FT elevation). Overall the experience was 5 stars , although the wait to the parking was very long it was well worth it. I would definitely visit again. And Please respect the wildlife and flowers, don't stomp or sit on the flowers. There is many ways to have beautiful photos without destroying the nature. Thank you for the lovely visit. ❤️😊
