Liberty Park

Cerritos, CA

★★★★★4.6(2,059 Google reviews)

A big, well-kept park with two separate playgrounds split for ages 2–5 and 5–12, plus a water-play area that's a summer lifesaver. There are also tennis and sand volleyball courts, a jogging track and picnic shelters with barbecues. The playgrounds use rubber surfacing, so cleanup is easy after a play session.

I like to park here to do my bike rides along the river. Rest rooms are clean ( open at 10 am) The track, the green areas are great. Plenty of parking. Large green areas for outdoor activities. Nice a clean children's playground

My family visits Liberty Park every year for the 4th of July holiday. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The air-conditioned building has clean restrooms. As a woman, I really appreciate that.

Awesome park in city of Cerritos. This city is really awesome with loads of parks and community activities. Each park has sports , walking trek, kids and pets area. Enjoyed the evening walk here with people playing and relaxing around.

I love Liberty Park! I love to walk outdoors for exercise, but at this time of year it can be difficult because it's dark by the time I can go out. I am almost always by myself, and I put safety first! LP is perfect because it is well lit and well populated; I haven't been there past 830 pm, but up to that point, anyway. Plus, people are fun and lively playing volleyball, pickleball, and tennis, also kids playing, walkers, runners and the people with great doggos out for a stroll. I've been going here regularly for about 7 years, and it is safe because people share space respectfully and "play nice." It's a great environment! The challenge may be parking, but one can always park on Studebaker and walk back - you're there to exercise, anyway. If you're looking for a great place to get your endorphin fix in the evenings, go to Liberty Park! PS- don't even get me started about how great it is on summer evenings!
