  I am not one to fawn over aviation but, the collection held here is impressive. I kept catching myself being entertained by every single plane. Pristine examples of modern history. Many interactive exhibits as well, the day I visited the F-16 simulator was not in use, but it gives me another reason to return. Flights in historic planes are also available for purchase

  Absolutely a perfect place to bring the family to learn about our history. Plus they have a scavenger hunt for kids and give them a prize. I'm usually not into airplanes but this was a whole different experience. I highly recommend this place if you have time you want to spend with the kids and want to try something new.

  Such a great experience. You can even go inside some of the aircraft (for an extra $5, but totally worth it). That alone makes it special. I absolutely loved the shaded benches outside where you can sit under a canopy and watch civilian planes take off and land from the nearby airport. Very meditative. I could honestly sit there all day. They even have a stealth aircraft on display — very cool. Overall, a really well-done museum with friendly staff. Definitely not a waste of time. I would plan at least 3 hours to properly explore it.

  As noted in the many other reviews, this is an awesome museum full of interesting and humbling history and many well preserved planes. I'm not a plane person and even I was awestruck by the ingenuity of the design and evolution of these planes. The planes are also a stark reminder that progress comes at a price. They also have friendly and knowledgeable volunteer staff and clean bathrooms. Kids under 12 are free and both of mine had a great afternoon. There are opportunities to get in the cockpit of a few. Just watch your head.

  Great museum, with a staggering amount of history on display. The docents are friendly and engaging (shout out to Vince in the stealth hangar, for sharing awesome facts and tidbits). As long as no one is waiting you can try your hand at the flight simulators until you get marginally good but you have to check out the library upstairs!
