Downtown Covina & Heritage Plaza

Covina, CA

★★★★★4.6(232 Google reviews)

Historic downtown Covina centers on Citrus Ave, and on Friday nights Heritage Plaza hosts a farmers market and family night with live music, food and inflatables. There's a playground right there so little ones stay busy while you grab produce and dinner. Come hungry and park a block or two off Citrus to skip the closest crowds.

Arrive at 6 am, visit the park and walk through the restaurant area. What I enjoy the most is the history of the place and its founders. In the park there is good information. I would like to arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a good meals Congratulations 👏 so cean.

Friday nights are Farmers Market and a live band. Joannie and the Boomers were playing. Everyone brings a lawn chair and enjoys the band. Or sit at the back on the parks benches. When you get hungry the vendors are making delicious food. We enjoyed tamales and freshly made kettle corn. So yummy!

I discovered the place while I was doing my Am jogging on a quiet Saturday morning. Didn't see anyone other than homeless people sleeping on the benches. Still, very serene and peaceful. It shows old historical part of covina.
