This resort lagoon on the Back Bay at 1131 Back Bay Dr has calm, warmer water with no surf, plus a pirate-ship playground and a giant blue whale to climb on the sand. Day visitors can rent kayaks and paddleboards, use the seasonal inflatable water park, and come to free family movies on the beach on summer Friday and Saturday nights. Parking is the only charge for a beach day.
