So much fun at the Children’s Museum of Discovery in Escondido! Lots of play activities including blocks, play kitchen, water fountain, sand pits, books as well as a plant garden, a fish tank, and a turtle. There are guided lessons and art activities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The indoor area is a nice temperature and many shaded outdoor activities. We paid $42 for one child and two adults. Recommend!

Fun kids museum with various activities. Since most places are free under 2, it was a bummer to have to pay for a toddler between 1-2 years old. The tickets are quite pricey for a 1 year old, but it's valid all day I believe. It gets pretty busy in the mornings then clears up around noon/lunchtime. The outdoor area is the best part in my opinion, most of it is covered so it's a nice place to play even in the summer. My toddler liked the water table and garden. Parking lot is very small.
