Very nice hidden gem. Docent Dave is great. Learned a lot of interesting things about the aircraft and other items displayed in the museum.

A great place to get lost in our history. The staff were incredible at sharing their knowledge about the planes, and my grandson was thrilled to be able to take a tour of a couple of the planes from WWII. We will be back when we have more time! I'd suggest giving yourself a half a day or even a full day to see everything. A gem of a museum! When there are air shows, some of the planes are still flown, so you may want to take a day to see the museum and then when the air shows come, to go back to see them fly. A must for any WWII history buffs! They have more than just the planes. They also have uniforms, communications equipment, including a straight key for radio transmissions with a chart so you can try your hand at sending a message, and more. The staff made it a real treat to see and feel what it was like to experience some of the conditions our military fought in during WWII.
