Creekside Park
A 12-acre park with a seasonal splash pad, a playground updated in 2016, a gazebo, three lighted ball fields, a volleyball court and outdoor fitness equipment. The splash pad runs May through October.
FreeWalnut Ranch Park
The city's largest park at 45.2 acres, with a playground renovated in 2017, four lighted soccer fields, tennis and pickleball courts, picnic tables and a snack bar. Weekend mornings are busy with youth soccer.
FreeSuzanne Park
Walnut's first city park (built 1961 on former orange-grove land) covers 14 acres with a playground, four softball fields, 23 picnic tables (8 covered), four BBQ grills, snack bars and an equestrian area. Covered tables are limited, so arrive early for group picnics.
FreeLemon Creek Park & Rowland Ranch House
A 3-acre park with a playground, 12 shaded picnic tables, BBQs, a fire pit and a restored historic ranch house, plus a wisteria vine the city says is over 175 years old — a calm picnic park for small kids.
