Very fun and educational for the kids. We made reservation to do the adventure tour because I really wanted to see the porcupine and armadillo. The guide was very nice and the tour was fun. Porcupine were definitely the highlight of the visit!

We visited for a birthday party and this place was great! The animals were amazing and each one had a story about where they were found and how they were rescued and ended up at the Wildlife Learning Center. I would highly recommend going, great experience with the kids!

We did the Adventure Private Tour with our kids (6 and 8 yr old) and had an amazing time! Highly recommend. Katie was our tour guide - so incredibly knowledgable, thoughtful and kind.

Who knew that in Sylmar they have an entire safari world in the middle of the city?!? It is great for kids and for families, and after they close at 5:00 p.m. They do small 1-hr group tours with about 10 to 15 people in each group. These are mostly confiscated illegal pets or injured wildlife. They have a male sloth there that they're keeping for species preservation, and it needs a female mate! Know of ant female sloths at any sanctuaries or zoos? The place started in the garage of a couple who were taking their rehabilitated animals to schools and educational presentations. They ended up using the existing property when the guy who owns it offered it to them, since he didn't need it. He kept half of his property for his other animals, like the giraffe, that are use in the movies. They trained animals and have different animals that are typically used in different movies. You can see the giraffe in the videos and the photos of Google reviews because he always comes to check out the people and to eat all the plants on this side of the fence 😆. Watch the videos of the porcupines, they're so cute and they're nuzzling each other all the time.
