I attended a wedding at this location. It was a beautiful backdrop location for the bride and groom. Outdoor ceremony by the gazebo area. Reception in a larger style "barn" on site that was decorated with lights, tables and and a catering area for the appetizers and entrees. Lots of historical information on this park. Guided tours are offered by local docents. Nice parking lot across the street you can park also. The weather was cooler on this day, so the reception area was a bit chilly. 🌺🌟

Strathearn Historical Park is truly a hidden gem. We expected a quick visit and ended up staying for three hours, enjoying every single bit of it. Paul was an outstanding tour guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history, which made the experience come alive. You can really feel the care and effort that goes into preserving this place. Everyone involved in maintaining and sharing its history deserves a lot of credit. If you have even a slight interest in local history, this park is absolutely worth your time.
