Kid suitability: medium. This stretch of sand runs south from Main Beach and is reached by street-end stairs at Sleepy Hollow Lane, Cleo Street, St. Ann's Drive and Thalia Street; there are no restrooms, and parking is on the street. Thalia is one of the city's designated surfing beaches, so swim away from the surf zone. While the Anita Street stairs are closed for reconstruction, the city points visitors to Thalia and Oak Street instead.
