The long-running Tall Ships Festival, now called the Maritime Festival, brings historic tall ships into Dana Point Harbor for dockside tours, ticketed cannon battles at sea and mermaid and pirate entertainment. It's based at the Ocean Institute at the harbor's west end. Book cannon-battle sails ahead on the Ocean Institute site.
