South Pasadena's small-town Independence Day starts with a parade down Mission St from Diamond Ave to Garfield Park, followed by a Party in the Park with inflatables, games, food vendors and a DJ. The evening concert and fireworks are at the South Pasadena High School stadium (1401 Fremont Ave). Check the city's events page in June for the year's schedule and tickets.
