A city open space at 163 N. La Patera Lane, with easy trails circling a lake that is good for spotting ducks and herons (no swimming). It sits beside Rancho La Patera and Stow House on Los Carneros Road, and the Goleta Depot is on the same road, so it is easy to combine with a weekend train ride. Paths are mostly flat dirt, which suits a stroller with big wheels.
