A roughly 1-acre rocky-and-sandy beach below Trump National Golf Club that the city says has pristine tide pools at low tide. It isn't a swimming beach (rocks and heavy seaweed), though lifeguards are on duty in summer. Reach it on the Sunset or Sunrise trails from Founders Park; public restrooms are above the beach outside the clubhouse, and this is a good tide-pool alternative while Abalone Cove's beach is closed.
