A legendary, festive beach-volleyball tournament on the south side of the pier, followed by a free junior 6-Man tournament for youth players. It overlaps with the multi-city International Surf Festival, so the beach is busy all week. The AVP Manhattan Beach Open follows in mid-August (Aug 13-16 in 2026).
