A fun place to go with the kids. You can view exhibits showcasing native plants and animals, including live birds of prey, tarantulas, snakes, and a turtle. And then there is a stream that the kids love to play in! Parking lot filled up by 11:30 but we found a spot! There are many hiking trails but I didn't go on any.

Nice place to walk around. In all the time we've lived here, I've never seen the cabin open for tours. But apparently it is now (summer 2026)! We missed it by a half hour, but I'm adding the posted hours.

Fun, dynamic hike that crosses multiple times through a stream, ending at a waterfall. Took us about 2.5 hours on a late Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t crowded at all. Easy, free parking.

The best hike in Santa Clarita! I’ve been coming here for over 15 years. It closed for a while but it has reopened and couldn’t be happier !!! It’s very a very beautiful hike. Pretty easy and level ground until the end it has a few steep and slippery areas. Hopefully one day they make the end easier to access but overall I love it. Plus the history is really cool. Make sure to check your dog for ticks after you leave because I just found one on my dog after leaving here 😔… but that can happen anywhere so always be safe and check. Overall a great hike.

Enjoyed coming here! Had a good time seeing the birds and hearing the noises from all the different animals from the from the display cases. The bee case was fascinating because it was opened in on the back and bees were entering it naturally and adding to their hive. In the back there is a walking trail and you can come here for for special events.
