About two miles of sidewalk loop the whole harbor past the Cape Cod-style village shops and restaurants, with sea lions and boats to watch. The Small Harbor Fishing Pier in the middle of the harbor is open, and the city calls it excellent for children; no fishing license is needed on a California public pier.
