This San Elijo Lagoon trail is about 2 miles round trip and squeezes through a sandstone slot canyon with narrow passages, ladder-style steps and some scrambling. Nature Collective lists the trailhead at Via Poco and says to park at the San Elijo Activity Hub Park & Ride. There are no restrooms, and leashed dogs are allowed everywhere except the slot canyon.
