Brea Art in Public Places (Sculpture Walk)
Brea, CA
Free
By Simir Shah
Since 1975, Brea has required private developments to include public art, and the program has produced more than 185 outdoor sculptures, including works by J. Seward Johnson and Niki de Saint Phalle. The pieces stand at prominent spots around the city, which makes them a free sculpture hunt for kids. The Brea Gallery (714-990-7731) runs the program and can help you find them.
