Truly outstanding! We saw A-12 and SR-71 blackbirds. They are absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. The volunteer guide, Chris, is super knowledgeable. We enjoyed talking to him very much! Highly recommend! Admission is FREE. We made a donation at the donation box next to the guide.

Blackbird Airpark and the neighboring aviation museum offer a fascinating up-close look at some of the most remarkable aircraft ever built. Seeing these planes in person gives you a new appreciation for the engineering, innovation, and technological achievement behind military aviation. If you're expecting a slick museum perfect tour, this isn't the place. But if you want one-on-one with real steel, the real deal and mighty power this is the place to wander in awe. I was genuinely amazed by the size, design, and capabilities of the aircraft on display. It is not often that visitors have the opportunity to get this close to historic military aircraft and experience them beyond photographs or documentaries. Whether you are interested in aviation, engineering, military history, or aerospace technology, this is an outstanding destination. The planes on exhibit provide a unique perspective on the achievements of the aerospace industry and the people who designed, built, and flew these incredible machines. I highly recommend a visit.

What a cool, FREE park. For any aviation enthusiast in town, it is definitely worth a visit - you can get right up close to some of the planes, like the 747 shuttle carrier, which is a rare experience. Because I’m a weirdo, I was most excited to see the X-55 composite cargo demonstrator, the only one in the world ever made. There’s a little gift shop, and they have reasonably priced souvenirs like Hot Wheels-sized mini planes for ~$10. Excellent job to all of the volunteers who make this park a fun place to visit. Note that there isn’t much shade to speak of and the desert sun is intense, so be prepared with sunscreen. Don’t be like me and get distracted by all the cool planes and turn into a lobster, lol.

Preface: even if you have no interest in aircrafts, this is not to be missed. The Blackbird is a miracle of 1960s engineering, design and stealth. An amazing achievement. The museum has the very first and the very last Blackbird that ever flew, and it's the only place in the world where there are 2 of them. The guide, Bob, a retired Blackbird mechanic, is so friendly and knowledgeable. There is also a nice gift shop with quality merch. There are also many other famous military aircrafts, but the Blackbird is the star. The admission is free, donations welcome. There is a lot of parking and clean restrooms.
