Reviewers single out the playground and a merry-go-round as the highlights. Plenty of shade, clean restrooms, drinking fountains and seating around a courtyard fountain. Tennis courts and short paths at the back. Markets and music fill the park on some weekends. Several parking options.
The leafy heart of downtown Ojai, with a big community-built playground, shaded lawns, and tennis courts steps from the pergola shops — easy small-town charm. Glass magnate Edward Libbey donated the land to the city in 1917, the same year the landmark pergola along Ojai Avenue was built; the original pergola was later damaged and removed, then faithfully rebuilt and rededicated in 1999. The current playground came together in 2015, built in a single community effort by more than 500 local volunteers.

Loved this park growing up. So many fun activities and play structures. The merry-go-round is the most fun. The kids all loved it.

Great park right in downtown Ojai. With restrooms, a tennis court, and a playground for kids. Very clean. They have markets and music in the park on weekends.
