Lancaster's 63-acre central park (formerly Lancaster City Park) at 43063 10th St. West, with a colorful tot lot, a big covered group picnic shelter, eight lighted tennis courts and the Big 8 Softball Complex. Its tree-lined grounds give some relief from the sun. On summer Mondays it hosts the city's Monday Night Bites food-truck nights.
