This is a fun spot — we've done many staycations around here. It's super lively on game days, just full of energy, with tons of good food right there at LA Live. And Star Plaza has statues of legends everywhere — it's worth just walking around even without a game to go to.
💡 Local tip: Skip the arena garages if you can — the Metro A or E Line stops at Pico Station, a two-to-five minute walk away, and parking downtown gets pricey fast.
Downtown LA's entertainment district around Crypto.com Arena — Star Plaza's statues of Lakers, Kings and Sparks legends, restaurants, and an atmosphere that peaks on game nights. The plaza's more than a dozen bronze statues range from Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to Wayne Gretzky and Oscar De La Hoya, with a Kobe and Gianna Bryant memorial added in 2024 as the newest addition.

I had an amazing time at the Monster Truck Show in Los Angeles! From the moment the event started, the energy was incredible. The sound of the engines, the impressive trucks, and the exciting atmosphere made it an unforgettable experience. The performances were action-packed from beginning to end. Watching the monster trucks race, jump, and perform incredible stunts was exciting for both kids and adults. The drivers showed amazing skill, and every performance kept the crowd engaged. You can really appreciate the amount of preparation and talent that goes into putting on a show like this. The event was well organized, with a great atmosphere and plenty of entertainment throughout the day. It was easy to see why so many families and motorsports fans come back every year. Whether you're a longtime monster truck fan or attending for the first time, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and well worth attending. If you're in the Los Angeles area and have the chance to see the Monster Truck Show, I highly recommend it. Looking forward to coming back next time. Five stars!

Came here to catch the live game between the LA Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies, and the energy was absolutely unmatched! It was too bad Ja Morant wasn't playing that night, but the game more than made up for it. The Lakers took the win, and LeBron was spectacular to watch in person. The entire arena was fully alive and incredibly loud—an amazing crowd to be a part of. On top of the great atmosphere, everything was smooth and safe, with no rowdiness or bad incidents at all. Just a fantastic, high-energy environment. Definitely should be a part of your bucket list!
