By Simir Shah
Needles packs its holidays into one Saturday. Spike's Christmas on Route 66 fills Broadway between D and F Sts by day, the tree is lit at Broadway and G St, and then a lighted parade rolls through. The city also lists a Santa's Workshop and a Route 66 Peewee Derby among its annual events; check the city calendar for 2026 times.
