WOW. Stunningly beautiful. When we rounded the curve and saw the beauty of the area I was so shocked I found a place to pull over and take some pictures. Everything was so clean and well prepared. It was such great fun and we will be back.

Wonderful place for hiking. Perfect for kids too. If you do the loop on the Adobe trail you will be half in shade, which we loved. Once you arrive at the Adobe's there's you'll find a few nice spots to have packed lunch. They have picnic tables and Porta potties.

First time here. Learned a lot and will be returning. Stopped by the pools and the adobes. The office was open so we were able to buy tickets. There's no service so I recommend buying tickets ahead of time.

This place is absolutely wonderful to visit year round with many native plants and wildlife, including such delights as chocolate lilies.

Great place to hike, I try to go early mornings and it’s never been crowded. There are vernal pools (with water atm), I’ve seen deer, cranes, tarantulas and lots of lizards and bunnies. There are many different plants and flowers as well. So far I’ve done the trails around the pools and the hidden valley trail in the middle of the map. The Hidden Valley was the easiest as far as the path and change in incline, but I find the Vernal Pool trail more interesting and there is just a minor incline on the way back. I have bad feet, knees and back and I am able to handle with no issues! The people working and volunteering at the preserve have always been super kind and informative. Bought a yearly pass for $35. Day use without the pass in $4. Plenty of parking at the 3 different parking areas.
