Nice easy hike, mostly exposed, has 3.5 mi loop plus some short side routes up to stream, pool, and waterfall further up. Plenty of parking, mostly graded fire road with some rocky areas and old pavement. Decent views of nearby peaks with kiosks along the way describing the area. Some shade from live oaks and pavilions. As always, bring water, and maybe a light snack, and don't drink the spring water!

A very popular and unchallenging hike. Can be enjoyed by every person, any age, other than the dog. No dogs allowed. I would recommend hiking to Etiwanda Falls for an easy route, or be adventurous and explore every way you can. The Etiwanda Preserve makes outdoor exposure very accessible.

First time visit to the preserve. So nice..didn't make the falls this trip, but definitely planning to come back in Spring for that! Dirt trails are rocky. Great views of the IE. It started getting busy around 10:30am. A couple of routes available, main path is 3.22 miles. Gates open and close with the sun. Dogs are not allowed. Pass required or pay parking with the QR code.

Fun and challenging 3 mile hike. Went with my bf and some friends at 7 am on Sunday, we finished by 9 am. There were plenty of people walking around and a few places with shade on the way up to the water. The majority of the hike has a ton of rocks, so wearing good shoes is a must. When we got to the streams, there were a lot of trees, so it was dark and cool. There were plenty of rocks to sit on, but there were large spiders hanging out around them. Bringing a pair of extra water shoes is recommended if you plan on walking in the stream, I saw some glass while walking around the plunge basin. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because parking is limited and if we would have shown up maybe an hour later, we wouldn't have found parking. It gets really hot after 7 am at this time of the year, so doing this hike very early is definitely advised.
