A volunteer-run museum at Hwy 111 and Aten Rd, across from Imperial Valley College, on the Valley's pioneers, farming and irrigation, with outdoor grounds of historic buildings (Palmetto School, Rose School, Heber College, a blacksmith shop) and IID Engine 151. Kids under 6 are free, so plan more time on the grounds, and call before a July or August visit.
